BMG Music Service ripoff: offer of free ipod is a fraudulant scheme to get you to sign up for BMG's service Chicago Illinois
i applied for a free ipod and was asked to join bmg music as a requirement to receive a free ipod. once i filled out all the info for the free ipod and then joined bmg by selecting 4 cd's and paying a fee plus shipping, i was then sent an email stting i had to get 5 friends to do likewise.
i was not told of this BEFORE i joined bmg. i think this is a ponzi scheme ala the old fashioned chain letter scam. i am not buying anything more from bmg as they have a requirement to buy more cd's.
if they should choose to put anything negative on my credit report, due to the fact that i am not fulfilling their agreement, i would like to file a lawsuit against them.
when i made this inbformation known to bmg, all they did was to continue to send me letters stating that i have an agreement and must abide by sadi agreement. I WILL NOT!
