I purchased a vehicle from BNB Auto sales. They said it had a clean title... the credit union I got my car loan from sent me a notice that it is a rebuilt/branded titled car. I called the guy at BNB who told me that they got it from the state of Utah and that it had a clean title and that if there's a problem with the title, I would have to take it up with the state...??? So they have washed their hands of any responsibility. Meanwhile, I am now stuck with a wrecked/rebuilt car. I never would have even looked at the car if I had known it was branded. Rick at BNB lied, denied and hung up on me. This business should not be able to be in business. It is not legal to sell branded cars without disclosing that fact. Do not buy from this place!

You really need to contact the Utah Motor Vehicle Enforcement Division and file a formal complaint about your issue. It is required that any vehicle sold with a rebuilt/restored title in Utah be clearly disclosed to the buyer in writing. The dealer is required to have you sign a form that states the vehicle has a branded title. If the dealer didn't have you sign that form, the deal can be undone and the car can be returned to the dealer. Just look up Utah MVED and contact them right away.
