I consider myself lucky that I only lived at this residence for less than a year. Bob and Nancy Thayer are among the worst Landlords I've had and I can't believe there aren't more negative reviews that detail their extreme unprofessionalism. These people are incredibly rude and unwilling to work with their tenants in any compacity. I am currently in contact with a tenant who was explicitly told by Nancy to STOP ALL REQUESTS for maintenance, simply because they are lazy and unwilling to take care of it! This tenant is no longer "allowed" to ask the landlords to mow the lawn, even though Bob has only mowed the lawn TWICE the ENTIRE SUMMER. This is absolutely ridiculous. If you don't want to take care of your properties, then sell them. Don't refuse to perform maintenance and then FORBID the tenants from making requests or even fixing it themselves!
In specific regard to Nancy Meade-Thayer; do not expect to have a pleasant conversation with this woman after you have signed your lease. She uses every spare drop of affability before you sign to make you think you are dealing with someone who is reasnoable and stable. If you ever have a problem with anything, whatsoever, Nancy will either 1. Deny the problem 2. Blame you for the problem 3. Insult you/hang up on you/ask you to no longer contact her about the problem. Those are you three options, but it's usually a combination of both.
