BEWARE! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BOB & NANETTE EMANUELSON!
This report is in reference to a house they offered to rent me on 411 Bowser Avenue, Chesterton, IN 46304. They contacted me and offered a house for rent. I took time out of my busy day to view the home and was decently pleased with the appearance. Nanette was the primary negotiator in the situation and did most of the dealing for the property for rent. I was told by Nanette, "We Will Work Something Out in Your Price Budget, Don't Worry!"
I agreed to rent the place and had money in hand, for deposit & rent; although they did not want it. They wanted all my personal information (SS#, DLN#, Employer, & References). Once I provided them this information they refused to rent me the place. They basically took this information and ran without providing any explanation on the move in date. They had no negative information on myself and refused to provide any reasoning, no bad credit or past background issues. Sounds like a scam or fraud to me, take your information and run. Beware of these individuals and their poor business practices. If you have the opportunity to deal with them, I would most definitely pass; unless you enjoy providing your personal information to complete strangers and receiving nothing in return.
