Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
In September 2005 sister and I originally signed up for each two times per week for one year. I wanted only a couple of months, but they insisted that in order to get the best deal, we both had to sign up for the full year. Since I can only go after 5 pm I was restricted to a lower caliber trainer until the new one could be brought on board.

Since the "best trainer" was brought on board - as they promoted him to be, we have both now been assigned to him. Unfortunately, management keeps assigning new clients to him and he doesn't even have enough time to handle the clients that he currently has. When we question management about this, they tell us that they have other trainers (unfortunately, they are not of the same caliber or training as this person is).

The whole point of having a personal trainer is for the individualized training to help a client reach a goal. Unfortunately, that is not possible with this company. If you choose not to train with someone else and want to wait and fight for a good time to train, the attitude of management is that the meetings just roll over to the end, so what is the problem. You don't get the results that you are paying for and they make sure the deduction to your account is made on time - even if you do not get to have the training that you paid for.

I am very dissatisfied with the service from body of change and would very much like to cancel my membership with them, but after finding your site and reading the many unhappy former clients, I can see that I am stuck with this lame contract with them until my year is concluded. But I did want to add my complaint to the many others, so that maybe someone else will not make the same mistake that I did with this awful, money-grubbing company. They should be shut down or made to use better ethics with their clients.

Just so everybody understands, after 5pm is considered "prime time." This is when everybody gets off work and comes to the gym. This is when we have the most trainers working and our BEST trainers working. The fact that you consider your trainer to be a "lower caliber" trainer is your opinion. You have about 15 other trainers to choose from. When someone signs up for a program we try to choose the best trainer to match their personality and fitness needs. If the client feels we made the wrong decision, they are welcome to train with any of our other trainers. That is the beauty of of our programs. We let the clients schedule up to three weeks in advance and if they are regular clients who like to come in on the same times and days every week, they can be locked in with that trainer for those. All of our clients sessions "roll over" which is a benefit to them becuase if they go on vacation, get sick, or can't make it for some reason, they don't lose that session. The session remains on their account until they are ready to use it anytime in the future. I have never read or heard a complaint from anybody named Teri at my Oviedo location, so I personally have never had the opportunity to try and help her out. Brent District V.P.
