I too had a check bounce that totalled fourty dollars and was told that the collection company would contact me. The only contact I received was from Kevin Richards office in a judgement. I called EPN and tried to make arrangements they told me that they no longer could help and when I told them that I had never received anything from them they said that their computer shows that a statement went out so there is nothing that they can do. When I called the attorney they told me that my fourty dollar check would now cost me five hundred dollars and that they wouldn't work with me on payments that they needed the full amount and that they couldn't refuse payment but that it wouldn't stop further proceedings from happening. Now just this weekend I had the funds froze in my checking account and can't get Kevin's office to answer the phone so that I can receive at least a statement stating that the debt is paid.

They are quite a few people on here who have been ripped off and totally abused by this company! I also believe in their conversations with me they have violated the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. They are so awful to me, I have to go without food to pay them. Email me if your interested: (((ROR REDACTED))) my name is Michelle.. I know that sometimes things happen but honestly collections need to sent their statements certified and this fourty dollar check of mine that is now a five hundred dollar chek is outrageous. I think that at least half of my money should be reimbursed to me for all of this. It is rediculous if the check was a two hundred dollar check I could see it more costing me three hundred or so to get it paid back but four hundred and sixty dollars worth of filing fees and attorneys fees is an outrage.
