Box Office Ticket Sales Added additional charges to the confirmation after processing payment...titled "Misc expenses". Nationwide
Initially I looked up the phone number to Centinial Hall, University of Arizona. When I dialed the number I was informed that it was the Box Office. I asked if this was Centenial Hall and was told yes that they handle ticket reservations. After agreeing to the price of two tickets at $200 each plus tax I soon received an e-ticket for two. Next, I also received a confirmation stating the cost was for two tickets plus tax ,e-ticket charge and "Misc. Expenses" amounted to $508.21.
On the confirmation was a charge for "Misc. Expenses" in the amount of $81.71. I immediatly called and was told that someone would contact me. When this never happened I sent an e-mail and that also was never responded to. When I "googled" a phone number the customer service person said that I had agreed to the
final total total of $508.21 which I had not and hung up. This company is a fraud that is preying on honest people looking to buy tickets to an event. I have challenged the "Misc Expense" of $81.71 with my card company,
American Express.
