Boxedart.com is a subscription based web template and graphics company. I subscribed to their service for $49.99 and used them briefly immediately after my subscription started. Three months later, I get an email from them at 1AM saying that "tomorrow" my account is scheduled to expire and that I should considering returning to their site to renew my account.

Two hours later, at 3AM, they charge my card another $49.99. Four hours after that, I email them and say I did not want to renew, that I was given no notification of renewal, and their own email (which they sent in the middle of the night just hours before their charging of my card) said that I had to take an action to renew, and gave me no notification of this charge. I acted in good faith and did not wait days, weeks or months to request a refund, just a few hours after theirs arrived in the middle of the night.

Three DAYS later, I get an email from their "customer service" department saying I do not deserve a refund because their charge already went through and it's too late now. This is in spite of all the evidence listed above. These people are total scam artists with not a shred of professional business ethics to speak of!
