BPI Brand LIES

As an ex BA of BPI brand I can tell you this - they lie! and will try everything in their power to NOT pay you.
They view everyone who works for them as some stupid, young 20-something that they feel they can take advantage of by not paying you. Heck - you're in your 20s - you do Brand Ambassador work - you must be stupid - so you probably won't remember that you didn't get paid anyway.
How many people have worked for them and not gotten paid? Many.
BPI Brand changed its name from BARRY PROMOTIONS a few years back when the complaints piled up and they couldn't get clients any more due to all the complaints (like this one) on the internet.
Type in 'Barry Promotions' in RipOffReport and see what pops up. The same thing - not paying their brand ambassadors.
It takes a LONG TIME to get paid by them.
Yes, they will use many excuses like: "Payment arrives after the client pays us" or "Huh, I thought we paid you?" or "You must wait 3 weeks for payment." Needless to say, more than a month passes before you see a dime (sometimes 3 or 4 months).
I am certain, that after I post this, another "former employee" of the company will post something positive about bpi brand, but rest assured, it is just BPI Brand trying to cover themselves up with mock reports.
BPI brand will always try to weasel their way out of payment. They will not change. If you don't want the headache of non-payment, just stay away from them.

In regards to the submission by paymeplease, regarding non-payment to brand ambassadors. This rep was paid after she posted this submission. Her check was already on its way when she posted it. The reps contract states and we have it on file signed by her that payment is received around 30 days after the event or when payment is received by the client. The client paid the invoice late but this rep did receive payment.
This brand ambassador worked 05/07 and received payment already so it has clearly not been 4 months of emails as she states in her report above and we have all of the correspondence and contracts on file that proves this. Also the number listed to contact our company is the office line and the correct number to contact is that of the reps account manager should she have any issues. BPI was honest and up front regarding the late payment and has resolved this matter.
