Brainiacs from Mars delivered a big fat zero.
Kickstarters, beware of the hoard of would-be marketers who come at you from every angle one your Kickstarter begins. Most of these players will fill your ears with empty promises and deliver nothing.
This is the experience we had with Brainics from Mars. Just after our Kickstarter began, they were quick to contact us. We had heard from many similar marketing voices and ignored them. But Brainics seemed to do their homework. We bought in at the price of $600. The deal was for them to use their "amazing" PR contacts to bring eyes onto our Kickstarter board game project.
The date of their press release came and past. On that day, we actually had backers drop out of the Kickstarter (this, of course, wasn't Brianiacs from Mars's fault. Backers usually come and go throughout the Kickstarter).
We received no report of where Brainiacs from Mars had landed our pitch. Their services did absolutely nothing for us. They were, of course, happy to take our money and run.
My advice: when Brainiacs from Mars comes out of the woodwork asking for your money, send them packing. You are better off setting your $600 on fire.
