BB&T has been stealing our money every since we opened our account a few months ago. The last time was enough to make us leave them. My wife and I called them a month ago and "OPTED Out" of the overdraft protection for our debit cards. This Protection allowed BB&T to charge us 71.00 dollars each time we used our card when the account was empty. Now they have come up with a new way to steal from us. They tried to transfer money to our savings account while the checking was empty and have charged us 36.00 because the checking was empty. They knew the checking was empty when they tried to transfer. They are Crooks!

Using money you do not have!! How smart is that?? Stop blaming the bank and start blaming yourself!!! Idiot. Learn to manage your money or start keeping it under your mattress. And NO I do not work for this bank or any bank! I know how to manage my money.

Here's an ingenious idea: Don't bust out the debit card when the checking account is empty.
