I got in contact with a guy by the name of Brendan DeBeasi of Cyber2Media a while back to work on designing a web page for my company and little did I know I was the victim of a scam. I payed him a good deal of money to work on my website and never heard from him again, he ran off with my money and after numerous attempts of contacting him and threatening to take legal action I have never heard from him since. I have posted on a discussion forum and actually came across other stories as well of people that he has ripped off and ran off with their money. Be advised that Brendan DeBeasi is a con-artist and a liar. DO NOT pay him to work on any web or graphic design projects.

While I am alarmed at finding this ripoff report filed against me, I am more alarmed by the fact that there are several key parts that are incorrect.

Firstly, I have never done any freelance work under the company or name Cyber2Media.

Secondly, about 60 days prior to beginning employment with my current company, I contacted any clients I still had pending jobs with, and informed them that I would need to wrap up existing projects within the next two months due to contractual obligations. This included finishing logos, website designs, and anything else that was incomplete

I bill on an hourly basis for work already completed and either finished my projects or completed them to a point where they could be handed over to other developers for further development.

I provided referrals to developers for any clients that requested them, and left all the loose ends tied up. Unfortunately, I did not think it fair to myself to refund money for services already rendered. I even offered to provide referrals to other developers. I feel that I did everything in my power to help this client out, and believe I conducted myself in a professional manner.

After numerous legal threats, I informed the client that I would not be responding to further harassment.

This will be my final say on the matter.

I am sorry that the client could not end this issue in a civil way, especially when then allegations are over $200 for services that were already rendered.
