Brian Nels Peterson - Terra Finance - Terra International Borrowed $45,000 did not pay back, has done the same to others, refuses to communicate. San Diego California
At the end of February 2008 Brian Nels Peterson borrowed from me $45,000 to be paid back within 1 week with a promissory note. He gave me an out of state Deed of Trust that was improperly written and it took almost one month to correct. There is no value in the house.
He led me on for weeks on end that the payment was forthcoming within days and he would not reply (still doesn't) to my phone calls or e-mails. He responded to some of my calls in the begining and then I had to go to his office (which is up for lease now, his phones and website are not working) repeatedly, he would not be there.
This whole transaction was based on a huge "deal" the purchase of the State Farm Insurance building in Woodbury, Minnesota.
Since he didn't pay I did my own research and I found out that he never placed any money in escrow for that deal and the State Farm people have been trying to serve him with a termination letter.
I also found out that Brian Nels Peterson has taken money from other people such as a 72 year old lady that he owes $55,000 to who was widowed during this transaction and really needs the money. She has been given the same run-around since December of 2007.
My boyfriend and I went to his home in a gated community and Brian Nels Peterson did not come to the door but called security to have us escorted out. We thought we were welcomed since we considered Brian a "friend" and security allowed us in.
I have sent him numerous e-mails and phone messages. In the beginning I was trying to help him, I found out ways that he could pay me and I was willing to negotiate something that would work for both of us. Brian Nels Peterson simply refused to even acknowledge my offers, that is why I am writing this report.
At the beginning Brian Nels Peterson had his associates and friends say to me not to worry since they would pay me, today they don't return my phone calls or e-mails.
