Brighten Communication burn 'em and churn 'em 20 hour policy Phoenix Arizona
Keep your expectations very low when dealing with Brighten Communications. The first 20 hrs you work is $10.00 an hour and then goes up to $12 hr after the 20 hour trial period. The problem is, I feel that very few canidates if any actually get to work past the 20 hrs. I actually got to work a full 20 hours, and have been paid for 16 hours so far, before receiving the "termination email." I am remaining optimistic for the 4 hours they owe me.
All of their projects are short term in increments of 4 hours, so each project pays $40.00. I do believe that Brighten is anticpating that employees will work additional unpaid hours for the $40. to secure more leads, and get additional projects, therefore resulting in a very low pay rate. They are well aware that the amount of leads expected per assignment cannot be accomplished in 4 hours by even the most talented, seasoned, sales professional, and are operating on a "burn 'em and churn 'em policy.
I don't feel like a victim, but do believe that many naive, trusting people will feel differently about Brighten's operating procedures. I have been in Sales Organizations for many years and realize that Sales is truely a world of "smoke and mirrors" where honesty and integrity is not always at the forefront of doing business, and numbers are the bottom line and Companies do not always care on how they are obtained. unfortunatley, employees and clients of Sales Organizations like Brighten Communications are many times left with a bad taste. Please proceed with caution, and keep your expectations low when accepting employment with this company.
