Bromenn Hospital They were rude in so many ways to me. Treated me like I was young and stupid. Yelled at me. Normal, Illinois
On Monday September 21, 2009. I went to Brohmenn Hospital to have some lab work done. Everything about this place was wrong. I used to work in a clinic and have high expectations of people who work in the healthcare setting.
First problem I arrive in this place and I feel like I'm at a mall. It was huge and had esclators. I felt like I was about to go shopping. I didn't feel like I was in anyting that resembled a hosptail. They had really annoying music, and when I sat to wait for them to call my name I felt like I was sitting waiting for a plane at the airport. There were people walking around in scrubs but that was it. They rushed you through everything and didn't bother to get to know you at all.
My husband and I got into some stupid disagreement. They called my name and I wanted him with me. Then a lab tech called my husband and was an absolute a** to him on the phone. She was cold and insensative.
They made me get my lab work done before he could come and be with me. When he came back they pushed him out and made him wait even though I made it clear that I wanted him there. They were being annoying and pushy and weren't even making an attempt to make me comfortable. I'm crying and they don't care, I've been at other hopsitals and they are always so nice. They kicked him out and made my husband wait. I called for him, and they pushed him out. I emerged crying my eyes out, and asked him why didn't come for me even when I called for him. My husband said he had been pushed out.
They didn't ask any health information about me. I do have a cronic health problem. They saw me as someone who needed a lab, not as a person. I told my husband how they treated me and there is no way that I am ever going back.

I did go there and she sent me there. You weren't there and please don't pretend to be there. You comment was rude and there was no reason for that. You can't say something nice don't say anything at all.

Next time you need blood work go to your primary care physician - You and your husband got into a disagreement meaning you got into a fight - Nice - you call the staff rude and annoying - What about the other individuals who had to put up with your rudeness (ie fighting in the waiting area)
Please do us all a favor and GROW UP - as for your "cronic" (chronic) health problems once again see your PRIMARY care physician
