We hired Brothers EZ Moving to move from Florida to Texas. It was farand above theworst moving experience imaginable.

They came unprepared, not enough blankets to wrap the furniture, argumentative, and whenwe requested to speak to a managet, we were told by one of the movers that he was themanager. That was also a lie, as we were informed of by 2 of the movers.

They didnot have enough movers or the right size truck ( trucks as it actually took anotherone. My husband was forced to pay for the second truck AND hadto drive it from Florida to Texas.

A good deal of expensive furniture was damaged as evident by the factthat upon arrival , as they opened the truck, wecouldsee that furniture was just thrown and jammed into thetruck withtheentire back end having noblankets or wrap.

We had the manager on the phone who hung upon us. The drivers were told to leave WITH our stuff. I threatened to call the police and they did unload a partialamount before leaving to catchtheir plane back to Florida. We hired a local company to come and unload thes econd truck.

We did report the damages as they came off of the truck but were informed by themovers that they do not carry claim forms.According to Brothers policy you must request and fill out a claim form from the movers. I have a ton of video and conversations that I recorded on my phone

Not only was it completely inconvenient that we wound up driving  but we were left with a huge mess as they didn not put things back together or where they belonged, destroyed furniture, we  payed for another company to come out and unload but the main office ( and a driver)  was so unproffessional and were basically extorting us.

Many more issues but I have photos, video , and live phone recordings of alot of this. They informed us the same thing happened the prior week and thecustomer refused to pay so they will not unload until you give them a cashiers check.

Do not use this company if you expect ANYTHING they told you to be true and you expect your furniture to arrive in the shape you handedit over to them in.

There are many more complaints that have the exact same story if you go to WWW.movingcompanyreviews.com

We are filing with the Federal Motor Carriers ,Florida Moversand Warehousemans Associationas well as our attorney.

A good deal of expensive furniture was damaged as evident by the fact that upon arrival , as they opened the truck, we could see that furniture was just thrown and jammed into the truck with the entire back end having no blankets or wrap.   If you have expensive furniture, then why did you decide to choose a mover on the internet based on price?  How much research did you actually do on your movers and the industry BEFORE you decided to have an interstate move done?  It wasn't until AFTER your move did you actually do some research...

We had the manager on the phone who hung upon us. The drivers were told to leave WITH our stuff. I threatened to call the police and they did unload a partial amount before leaving to catch their plane back to Florida. We hired a local company to come and unload thes econd truck.  The police wouldn't do anything even if they came.  The police do not intervene in civil matters, which is what you have with your mover.  The mover probably wanted you to pay before unloading the truck, you would not, and they left.  It's in your Bill of Lading.  Payment would have been required at delivery - period.

We did report the damages as they came off of the truck but were informed by the movers that they do not carry claim forms. According to Brothers policy you must request and fill out a claim form from the movers. I have a ton of video and conversations that I recorded on my phone.  That's also standard.  Movers would never carry claim forms.  You have to request those forms from the mover.  None of your videos or conversations are relevant in a claim situation.  It only matters what's in the contract.

We are filing with the Federal Motor Carriers, Florida Movers and Warehouse mans Association as well as our attorney.  The FMCSA will file the complaint, but nothing will come of it.  The Feds are very understaffed (less than 10 people) and their jurisdiction is the continental US.  The FMWA will also file the complaint, but Florida also happens to be the center of the US when it comes to scam movers, so I don't see much happening there.  Your attorney is not going to be able to help you either.  Even if the mover acknowledges the claim, the most the mover will pay you is $0.60 per pound, and that's it - because you agreed to that when you signed the contract for the move.  Your 50 lb. dining table is worth $30.  I also saw the box with the expensive china - that won't be paid at all since you packed the box.  Your Bill of Lading clearly states that any box packed by owner (PBO) is something they are not liable for - a label on the box indicating "fragile" is irrelevant.

Moving is not an inexpensive venture.  Choosing the wrong mover will always cost you far more in the long run, than if you had simply chosen a legitimate mover in the beginning, though it would cost you more in the beginning.
