This customer thought the work we did was faulty so he took his vehicle to the Dealer, White-Allen Subaru. Since we do work for the Dealer we got a copy of his Invoice. The Invoice #15378 dated 7/01/08 from White-Allen Subaru states "FOUND FAULTY AIR FLOW RATION SENSOR" which had nothing at all to do with the transmission work we did (at a fraction of the cost that the Dealer would have charged)! An "air flow sensor" is on the engine no where close to the transmission! The customer posted this in July and has not bothered to fess up to this fact and spend the time to take his complaint off this website. He knows now that our work was not at fault but has not bothered to make it right with us. Nice guy hugh? Bob Lowry, owner

specify how many miles you will travel & see who pops up. Or join AAA and get their list of recommended shops. Who knows, maybe Cartalk also lists UNRECOMMENDED shops. Also, there is a Q&A forum offering responses from knowlegeable people, and you can also ask ''Click & Clack'', aka Tom & Ray.

We had this same experience with them 2 1/2 years ago and now the transmission we paid to replace needs to be replaced again and they are willing to offer no assistance at all. They were rude when we went and lacked all customer service skills needed in their job. We waited forever to get our vehicle back and still had problems with it. When we returned it for them to look over we received the same excuse as you did. This is beyond weird and shouldn't happen for a company of their size and name.
