I saw Bruce's scammercial and thought, I'll check it out. I ordered the book, looking for "the fine print" because I was still skeptical. Since there weren't any "hooks" or fine print on the website, I completed the transaction. But then I decided to Google his name and WHAM! Scam report after scam report. Well, I made the order about 11pm on a Sunday night. I called their office Monday morning at 8:45 to cancel the order. The lady told me that it had already shipped, which was IMPOSSIBLE! I told her to credit my card and not to ship the package because it was impossible that it had already shipped. I also told her I would report the scam to the state attorney general. The package arrived today and my credit card was billed. I am checking with USPS as to when the package was shipped. More later.

Sam when you push order on almost any website imedtaely a charge is placed. So when you called the next day your card was charged. Since we sold about 10,0000 products a day your order was bacthloaded. But you did get 100% of your money back and got to keep some products for your trouble.

 

Our company had a 100% money back guarantee. We never refused to give a refund to anyone even a year after they bought the product and used it.  When you sell millions and millions of products over the internet you can expect the following, competitors to use sites like rip off report and “review sites” to try and discredit you and poach your web traffic, a small percent of people to be unhappy with you know matter what you do or say. I am actually quite astonished that there is less than 20 complaints on this page as we had sold over 5 million CD’s and books over the internet. Our company model was modeled after book of the month clubs, record clubs and many other nationally known companies.  It was simple we did give you a Free Book if you just pages shipping. We also had a box you could check if you wanted a 30 day free trial of our other products. There was nothing deceptive about our practices. We had a customer service call center that was open 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year.  We only accepted credit cards for payment so therefore a person would have the ability to file a chargeback with their credit card company and get an immediate credit. You can’t please all the people all the time however I know firsthand that people benefited from my products. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Bruce A Berman.

In the last report, I had canceled my order for their book BEFORE it was shipped. I got the book 2 days later even though I'd canceled the order. I disputed the shipping charges on my credit card and had those removed. I called Berman's customer service and informed them I had received the book after canceling the order and that I was NOT going to go to the trouble and expense of shipping it back AND that I better not be charged the $100 for it. The customer service agent stated that they would NOT charge me, that my account was closed and to keep the book and cd's. I expected more of an argument but I was VERY firm and didn't allow him to interrupt me. I guess I'll find out in another 23 days if they try to charge for the cd's or not.
