Anna Boardman told sob story (sick child) to remain squatting in a rental house for which she filled out no application and paid no deposit. She destroyed the house and yard. Dogs lived in the house. Feces and other waste discovered in property. Anna Boardman and her boyfriend Bryce Marshall conducted a fraud in August of 2012 to avoid paying rent and utilities to avoid legal action while the plotted their escape from town. They left a $900 unpaid gas bill, a $258 unpaid water bill and ripped off a local church for 7 months of rent. The house in question is located in Ogden, Utah. In a series of texts, Bryce Marshall promised to pay off the utilities, pay back rent to keep the owner at bay while Anna planned her departure from Utah. Bryce claims to be a bomb defusing tech for the Army in Afghanistan. Anna Boardman and Bryce Marshall, Text string of lies available upon request. WARNING TO OTHER LANDLORDS: Do not rent to Anna Boardman and Bryce Marshall. They will destroy your property, lie about their circumstances and stiff you for rent. They are con artists of the first quality. Anna Boardman and Bryce Marshall will take advantage of any property owner trying to be kind and trusting. They also took furniture that did not belong to them. When the City shut off their water for non payment of utilities, Anna Boardman and Bryce Marshall, threatened the owners with legal action. Anna claims to have a sick child. Bryce Marshall claims to be a bomb tech for the U. S. Army. The damage Anna Boardman and Bryce Marshall did will likely run over $5,000 to repair and cost 2 months in lost rent.
