I attended Everest College. It was August of 2008. I withdrew after 3 months of chaos. I was on my third teacher and at my age I demanded an education that would quarantee me a good job. I am in my late 30's. I filed a law suite against Everest College. The judge granted me everything except the time I actually spent getting an education at Everest which was three months. I don't regret the lawsuit.
I first found out about all of the complaints against Everest College thru Rip Off Report. I was that student wondering what I had just gotten myself into? I searched for as much information as I could and found this website. When I read the numerous complaints, I logged on to the site in class, and showed all of my classmates all of the complaints about our school. I decided to withdraw and take legal action. I filed a small claims suite and was happy my complaint was legally documented. Olympia College is the old Everest College for a reason. If you take your complaint to the law you will be heard and it will be notated. Once more this institution will have to change it's name if enough people take a stand or close its doors.
The college is not accredited, they quickly fill your head with promises that they do not intend to fullful during the enrollment process. You should not put up with it. Check your State and other State websites to see just how many people have filed a suit against Everest AKA Corinthian College. Make sure to tell your story to give encouragement for others. We will be heard. I am writing this because I heard others and wanted to share my story. I am also writing for anyone who ever thinks they may need to research this institution for some clarity on what a student who attends can expect. Especially, if they are taking out a loan to attend this school. I pray they read this and invest their money in something that will give them a good retirement.
