Budget Suites of America told to pay own fees for spraying due to bedbugs,moved due to bites Lewisville, Texas
Stayed at Budget for four monts. During first couple of weeks had a bad outbreak of red whelps on my right arm,neck,side. Doctor said it might be hives. When we moved in we had thier furniture removed and brought in our own so my disabled daughter would feel more safe with items from home.Everything was ours except beds. Still no discount we still paid for a furnished apt. We stayed at this place four months while we looked for a home to buy or lease. Had a rough time with out break and since no one else seem to be affected figured was stress from move. Soon the whelps became unbearable and sores developed..neighbor told me bet its bedbugs they have them here. Figured why just me but to manager they checked apartment,they sent in a pest control guy and he said yes it was bedbugs. So now what, management told me we had to pay to have apartment sprayed $200. We already paid $1358 a month. Then told us to move out our furniture and throw the beds in the trash told us to do this,I am disabled my husband is nearly 70 and my daughter is unable due to being crippled with arthrities. With prayers and good luck we found a house. We moved and within 24 hours no red whelps sores cleared up and no more itching. Our rent was paid to the 12th we moved due to bedbug on the 26th. Did we get a refund for the trouble or anything even a we sorry..no. They kept saying give us the keys. No way. I did not give them the keys till the 12th. They did us wrong. I suffered pain and have scars from the whelps. Also kids run around unsupervised,two apts I know of had lots of traffic and knew drugs were being sold,get high just opening the door. Loud groups at all hours of the night. Not a place to rest thats for sure. Managment not good at all. They need training and CP needs to patrol and take control of the grounds,and this so called manager needs to find a new job he sucks at running a hotel. The staff was not any better.
