Burt Brothers Good at burning up engines!! Farmington, Utah
Took my older, but great running truck in for an oil change and 2 hose replacements. After keeping the truck for several hours, Burt Brothers called me and said they were finished and to come get the truck. I drove it 2 miles home and thought something was wrong, but ignored my feelings. The next day I went to start the truck and the idol was heaving all over the place and there was extremely cold air blowing out of my otherwise warm heater. I took it right back to BB and explained how the truck was working. They took it back into the shop for about 20 minutes, brought it back to me saying that they had hooked up the hoses, and put in radiator fluid and the idol was ok now. I drove off, but hearing something wrong in the truck. I took it to my regular Toyota mechanic who then describe to me what happens to engines when you drive them without the hoses hooked up and without radiator fluid in the radiator. The truck blew up a few days later as the rings were burned and the valves were sucking in the radiator fluid. I explained what happened to Ron Burt, the owner and he took his lying mechanics word over mine. I have filed a law suit against him and his company. Please stay away from this company as they will take no responsibility for their shotty work.
