Bush Ross Attorneys Steve Mezer Malicious Billing. Misrepresentation in Billing. Tampa, Florida
The Attorneys at Rush Ross (Steve Mezer) Sent us a Bill for our Homeowners Association Fees that were past due. We agreed to pay a certain amount and sent them the payment in full for their Bill. Accidentally my wife sent in a check as well as my self so they had two checks for over 1600 each. Both were for the full amount agreed to Settle the Homeowners. We called them and told them of the error and they agreed to not deposit the second check.
Weeks go past and they send us another bill this time for over $2000. In this bill they say that the original bill even though it was itemized to pay the Homeowners and attorneys fees only went to attorneys fee and we still owed additional attorney fees of over $2000. They then Attempted to cash the Second check that they said they would not.
Not Sure how people like this stay in business or sleep at night. They dont return phone calls or emails. I never hired them or agreed to or was informed of additional fees. They just make them up. There has to be a service out there to protect honest Citizens from greedy lawers without having to hire one. I plan to go to the better business bureau and the Florida Bar and any other Media source to get the truth out there if they wont resolve this asap. Its a shame that firms act like this or are encouraged to. All they did was write a couple of letters. I paid them in full and now they want more. Simple Greed!
