I was a Buyerzone supplier being told I am only one of 6 sent out to any given request for quote. I paid $18-25 dollars for the categories I signed up for. I paid about $300-500/month for these useless leads. Finally someone answered the phone and told me that they had no less than 30 people calling them about this lead -and I had only received it an hour before. Being told to respond quickly I did - and more than just this guy gave me an earful. He said that he got bombarded with people phoning him and is so irritated he is not going to do the project at all. I heard variations of that from many.

I immediately tried to notify Buyerzone but no humans would answer the phone. In fact if you click on the button for Suppliers they just put you to a recording then hang up on you!

Finally I snooped on the web and got a direct number to some "guy" - he put me into a woman named Jackie. She said she had no record of my multiple requests to be canceled - even though I filled out their forms on line several times. Gee whiz. I finally got my subscription canceled.

I had done Buyerzone once before and hated it then. Never - not even ONCE in the dozens of leads we've paid for have ever even gotten a bite. There is NO WAY their statistics are true.

Further, I was told "someone" is reselling these leads. In an hour? Really? I find that VERY hard to believe. Seems to me more than 6 get notified if their model works - why would they EVER limit it? They have no guarantees, they do not say you will ever get business. So they lined there pockets while we get nada, zippo, etc. The reason I got signed up again is one of our sales guys screwed up and did it. 90 days it took me to get off this thing. I tried to get on the stupidest categories to get hardly any leads once I found out - but even then you can't get away wtih less than $200/month.

Trust me - this is a huge scam and someone really needs to look into this. I can make up leads and lie to suppliers too and make a million - I guess there really are no checks and balances - BUYER BEWARE!

It's funny how people that have used Buyerzone have all had the same experience and they are all in different areas.  So for them to respond that they don't allow for more than 6 business's to receive a lead is bull.  How can I have a similar story.  I finally got someone on the phone after months of useless leads and I usually called within 1-2 minutes of receiving the leads.  The person told me not to bother that this was a mistake and that they didn't realize that the one form online would lead to the 2 dozen calls they just got.  I asked how websites did they look into and the response was just 1.

So BUYERZONE you LIE.  Then when renewal time came up after the 1 year I canceled.  But somehow they kept trying to charge my credit card.  Fortunately it expired and they couldn't charge their fee.  You're better off paying for google ad space or pay more and go with a better lead service.  I have and I now close 8 out of 10 leads and I am the only one calling not 30 + people.

Buyerzone please explain how people all across the country have the same issue.  How can you honestly say that's not the case.

My name is Maureen McCarthy, I am the Customer Care Manager at BuyerZone. Unfortunately, I am unable to speak to the specifics of this complaint because the client does not indicate the name of his company. However, BuyerZone does not ever under any circumstances match a potential buyer with more than 6 suppliers, in many instances it is fewer than 6. As to the point of clicking on a "Supplier" button in an attempt to contact our Customer Care Department and then immediately being hung up on, no such button exists on our site. The phone number to Customer Care is 888-393-5000, and we are happy to address any questions or concerns.
