I went to C1 training in North Little Rock, Ar. and it was not all that it was cracked up to be. Spent a lot of time standing around watching people. If you did kinda good on the yard do serpentine or backing up then u spent time just watching the ones who couldn't do it. I finally passed, and went on with PAM Transport to be with a mentor for two weeks. He would make me drive the nights while he slept and he also lied and said we practiced backing like 12 times the first week and 17 times the second week.
Well, that was a total lie. We maybe backed 5 times in the two weeks then the day he was to drop me off to test he made me do it 3 more times and then said my backing was horrible. I ended up driving with a Co driver which sucked and ran over signs and was a bad driver so needless to say I didn't sleep good plus he said he went to bed at 10 pm so once again I drove nights. I finally got to Co drive with my husband. All was going good until he got majorly sick. He was hospitalized for 3 days in ano the state then we finally got to make it home after I threatened to just quit.
After he got better we were fixing to leave out they wanted me to call medical so I did, and rudely the lady asked me how come I didn't call medical everytime I went to doctor and I told her I didn't know I was supposed to. All I knew to do was to tell my DM when I needed to go home and what for which I did and I was terminated for that and for not telling them about a cpap machine even though I only had mild sleep apnea and rarely used my machine. Well, I will not pay them back for schooling that sucked and then getting terminated. Now if I would have quit that would be another story and I would have paid them back. All I'm trying to say is they will screw you over by saying you will get miles which was not much like they said we would get and they find a way to get rid of u so they can make that school money back.
