Advertisement states secluded in the middle of 60 acres. Lie. There is another house with horse stable and corral located within a couple hundred yards of the front door.

House was full of cobwebs, spider webs. Linens just thrown in a spare closet, not even folded.

Tried to go upstairs to one of the loft bedrooms. Took third step up right into a low beam placing a nice gash in the top of my head, and knocking me almost cold. The area was dark with no type of warning signs advising the low overhead clearance.

Patio door so swollen and out of whack, it took 15 minutes of tugging and lifting to put door back in place so that it could be re-locked. I am 6' 200 pounds, and I had to really work at it!

The outdoor grill is a broken down brick excuse for outside cooking. Not only was it filthy dirty, but there was a fair amount of trash both in and around the area of the grill.

The "stream" behind that was advertised was nothing more than a dried up creek bed.

We called the contact number almost immediately after arrival to voice our displeasures only to get a recording. We left our number, but received no help. Contacted there office the following day after spending that night in a motel in town. We were told that there would be a return phone call from the manager (Lueke?) and that at least a partial refund would be given to us. We paid for this, sight-un-seen, in full to the tune of $186.00.

To this date, and four phone calls to the office later, we still have not gotten a return call, or a refund of any kind! We have rented cabins before in the south and other places and the advertisers have lived up to there ads 100%, making us more than just happy.

This place however, is out to rip-off it's unsuspecting renters. There advertisements are not truthful. We actually had a very nice motel located on the side of the mountain in Madison, and have already booked 6 rooms for the weekend in August of the Ribfest at a much better rate for much nicer accomodations.

The hillside inn you claim is giving you a better rate is $200 a night. It's an old motel and the rooms are very stale. Don't make it out to be something great. Apparently the cheaper cabin has property where you can do drugs, get drunk and have orgies. The hillside inn is just a very small room in town and if it wasn't for the view the rooms would have trouble going at $60. Don't know nothing about the cabin, but don't try to make hillside out to be something great when it isn't.
