I have purchased 9 vehicles from this company, and was formerly in the repo industry. They deal with people everyday that take the cars make the first payment and then disappear. Yes, they were within their rights to take your trade and repo your vehicle when you failed to make your pick up payment which is additional down payment you agreed to pay. When you did not make that payment as agreed of course they had the right to repo and the fact that you agreed to pay, they agreed to sell you their vehicle, and you failed to hold up your end of the bargain. It's rather simple. Is it morally ok? Maybe not. But think of it this way. If you didn't make your first payment which was a pick up payment, then why should they take the chance of you taking off with the vehicle??? If you loaned someone 7,000.00 and they were supposed to pay you $300.00 and didn't wouldn't you take back your 7k right away??? hmmmm As I said, I have purchased several vehicles, and sent several friends and family members to them. The only ones who have the issues and have to speak to rude people are only when they don't make their payments. I just paid off car number 9 and I spoke to them twice in two years! To buy the vehicle, and to see when my title was ready for me to pick up.
