Cactus Transport Inc. Violates Drivers Tolleson, Arizona
Hot Asphalt Transporter
* Home Office,
* Passive Aggressive FORCED Hours of Service Violations perpetrator. (Experienced Truckers know what I mean).
* Equipment; Some owned, Some Leased Day Cab Peterbilts with a few Sleeper Conventionals. Tankers; Hot Asphalt.
* Dispatch; Mother & Son. (Passive Aggressive Dispatching practices, HOS Violators, Retaliatory).
* Hiring; Titled, Truck Boss. (Passive Aggressive, Fraudulent, and Point Blank, Liar). Responsible for Hiring, Training, Safety Informative Practices, Safety Equipment Issuance, Drug Screening, Driver Liaison.
Concerns;
Non-Concerning practices when it comes to Equipment Safety Issues when reported to them. Will put off or negate reported Safety Matters with Equipment whether it be; Windshield Issues(Visibility Concerns), Steering(Tires, Alignments, Road wonder, Shaking, etc), Tankers, even though hauling HOT Asphalt materials(160 degree - 360 degree material), Little to NO acknowledgement to Safety Repair Issues. More applicable to Satellite Facilities.
Material; Knowing that Material(s) Hauled are Inhalator Carcinogens, WILL NOT provide protective Respirator's to their Employee's which could help to alleviate any respiratory issues which may result from Carcinogens Inhaled possibly resulting in long term affects to the Lungs.
Utilizing Day Cab Conventional Tractors(Weight Issues of product hauled), In many cases, as it is Hot Asphalt being delivered to Highway Jobsites, You maybe required to Wait Numerous Hours to deliver product with NO means to abide with HOS Rules. Additionally, as in many cases, there is No Where to rest other than on the Steering Wheel or outside of the truck.
When running Super Tanks, Purchased State Permits are Not in adherence to Weight and Bridge Laws expecting the driver to work Illegally or being retaliated against.(Drivers, you know what I mean).
Benefits; Even when you have met obligations to attain Medical, etc., conveniently they either forget, negate, or make you fight to attain these benefits.
Pay; If you are Not Vigilant with screening your payroll checks, you maybe short paid with fighting to get the monies owed to you. When Raises are due as to policy, they seem to either forget or forego them making you fight to get back owed monies.
Hiring practice; Truck boss seems to attain and hire drivers that have not be able to attain work and takes Full Advantage of New Hires.
Off Duty time; They will expect you to sit with issued company cell phone and answer it regardless of whether you are sleeping or otherwise. Even though there is a mailbox, they
IF you see one of their Trucks on the Road Way, Be Weary of who is Driving their truck(Just, Some of them) and consider moving aside/away from their equipment.
