Cafe Firenze Poor service, very poor food....had CHUNKS OF GLASS IN DRINKS!! Birmingham Alabama
Our experience with Cafe Firenze was not a pleasant one. They are charging way too much for the quality of food they serve and is managed very poorly. For around $40, you can get two drinks and an appetizer. The appetizer consisted of two tiny chicken fingers, 3 cheese sticks, corn nuggets, and a few over cooked mushrooms. The drinks were not made well, considering their high price tag, and one of them contained large chunks of GLASS! This was brought to my attention when my wife nearly ingested it and when she went to chew thinking it was ice...she was in for a surprise indeed. The problem was brought to the managers attention, only for them to reply: "...a glass was broken earlier near an ice bin.....we should get ice from the other bin..." DUH!!!!!!! On top of all of this, the pub advertised that a band was to perform, on song was played, and after several hours.... still no other music was performed. If you are going to advertise a band to play in order to attract consumers, please make sure you get what you pay for. Once again, very poorly managed, extremely sorry service...never again will my hard earned money be spent at this place!!!! Consumer beware!!
