Cal Pacific Products - Chuck Taylor ripoff falsely creating a purchase with out authorization Chatsworth California
I received a phone call from cal pacific products confirming our order for fire extinguishers and tape. Never heard of Chuck Taylor or Cal Pacific Products. Did realize by the way Ladora from Cal Pacific products pronounced the name of our company that they have gotten our company name from the SBC yellow pages. Buyer beware, what a scam !

The way this company works is they get your company name out of the phone book place an order and hope that the communication between the owners of the company and its employees is poor, hence they've made a sale and a buck off the unknowing.We are not a contacting company. It's a good thing our company is run efficienly or we would have fallen victim of this very clever scam.This not an isolated incident and you can see that there are other complaints.

The way that the company works is an order is placed and the shipping department verifies the order and delivery date. Cal-Pacific mainly sells tools to male contractors. When the verification and shipping department called, the wife was probably not aware of the order that the husband made. Not many construction companies check with their wives before making tool purchases. This appears to be an isolated incident with an uniformed party. Cal-Pacific is a legitimate construction supply company with a nation-wide client base.
