The name of the company is Cavalry not Calvary. I did find a business license listed for Cavalry in the State of Washington with a Tulsa Oklahoma address but it was inactive as of January 2004. For some reason the license wasn't renewed. Either way they shouldn't be collecting from anyone in Washington State in accordance with the law.

Larkay D. Wesley has filed a class action lawsuit in US District Court in Pennsylvania against Calvary Investments,LLC and Calvary Portfolio Services on charges of false credit collection information and failure to correct the information with major credit reporting agencies under the guidelines of FDCPA. The court papers are available through Google by searching for them. For Washington State residents dealing with Calvary, The State of Washington Department of Licensing doesn't contain any business records or licensing information with either Calvary Investments, LLC and/or Calvary Portfolio Services. Therefore they are not allowed to collect on any debt in accordance with RCW 19.16.430. You can file a consumer complaint with the State Attorney General's office. Keep in mind that complaints will not be processed unless you wish the AGs office to send a copy of the complaint to Calvary.
