Cambria Bicycle Outfitters Cambria Bicycle Outfitters- curb side delivery stolen sent 3 helmets wrong size, i sent back helmets with my costs of shipping was not refunded money for shipping or overcharge of helmet. Cambria California
I purchased a helmet for a purchase amount of $54.85 including expedited shipping. I found an empty box with no product in it from Fed Ex. Reported it to Fed Ex and they explained Cambria has instructions to leave it curb side delivery if no one is home. I filed a police report for the stolen helmet. I contacted Cambria of the situation in which i expected them to ship another helmet at no cost to me with signature delivery required. They instructed me that they are not at fault and to help me out they would send another helmet out if i covered the shipping in which I agreed. Three days later the person who stole the helmet threw it in my bushes. I guess it didn't fit. I than received two other helmets from Cambria. They sent me one to many. After all that the helmet was to small. Called Cambria back and they advised me to send the helmets back in which they would reimburse me of my $19.95 shipping charge and they would send out the proper size. I received the helmet that fits and an $18.33 credit. I ended up paying $80.55 for an original purchase of $54.85. I was never reimbursed the $19.95 for shipping. Cambria has no credibility and blamed me for the incident in which they said they were being reasonable. The innocent person ended up being the victim, when i was only trying to do the right thing. Lucky for them they got three helmets back and got away with an additional $45.00. I plan on disputing the charge with my Credit Card Company. Cambria does not offer signature required for delivery of their products and are shown on Fed Ex to leave at curb side delivery which that should make Cambria responsible for that product until the customer actually receives it in their hands. Will never buy again and will go out of my way to assure no one else buys from them as well, in which i know a lot of people related to the items they sale. Instead of a happy customer that would have increased their business they will decrease. Carma will always win!
