Camco Acquisitions And Management CAMCO tried to rip Me off Rockford Illinois
CAMCO called a week after My wife passed away saying they were a debt collection company that My wife owed 2,463.93 from 20 years ago but would settle for 995.00. When I asked for information about the debt David Stone informed Me he could only fax information if I gave him My bank account #. telling him at least six times, No I wouldn't give that information out. To which He changed his tacticks to be more intimidating, I very hesitatedly aggreed to it to get the Fax which was very vauge.
Then agreed to the payment over the phone which would take place two days later. Talking with different people and the advise of an atty. Fortionatly I was able to put a stop payment on the check. David Stone called me two weeks later Very irate that I stopped the payment and that I could be locked up for fraudulent practices, I had a tough time getting a word in edgewise to give him My atty's name and number. I don't understand how a company like this can exist violating peopls rights the way they do?
