Attn. camco shoppers - are you now getting calls from Universal Fidelity? have those camco bottom feeders sold our stale debts to another collection agency?

here's how it works, you'll get a phone call & its a recorded voice asking you to call Universal Fidelity (281) 644 752-something i didn't get the entire #.

but looking it up on the web UF + area code appears to be another collection agency & this one's in houston. i notice there's reports of that 1 on ripoff as well.

thanks for the info sylvia. just curious, and at this point there's certainly no harm in their calling & leaving a no nothing sort of message. well, except a 20 year old stale debt is still pretty stale. and a waste of their time to chase after.

If sCAMCO sold any paper to another collection agency, it seems that would have to have happened before the FTC went in and shut them down. The debts would have been considered assets, or maybe evidence, and the assets have been frozen. Since last week's closing, sCAMCO hasn't been in a position to sell anything. At least, a lot of people know what to do if another fraudulent outfit tries the same thing as sCAMCO.
