I called Cameragiantsinc.com to place an order for a Garmin Nuvi 765T for the advertised price of $279.00. Due to such a good price I asked if They had anymore, and they said thay have a bunch. I went to place the order and they asked Me what size SD card I wanted. I told Him that I didnt need it, and He said that the GPS needed it and it would cost $250.00.
Again, I told Him that I did not want it and then He started to refer to it as a special chip that is required for the unit. This SD card is just a basic SD card that is not at all a requirement for the GPS unit and sells all over for just $10.00 to $30.00 depending where You buy it and the size You get.
The bottom line is He told Me, if I didnt buy the SD card He would not sell Me the unit. Another one to watch out for is 86th St Photo. I think they are the same company or Bandits.
