CANADIAN ACADEMY SECURITY HARSH TONE TORONTO, Ontario
Canadian Security Academy called me for an interview. I replied to their ad on kijiji.ca hiring "Security Guards". I met with Rob and he told me about several jobs available all over Toronto. Then he said the requirement is the training class + cost and certificate. He asked me for the money for the training class right away without asking if I'm interested. I didn't have enough money on hand or in the bank. So he asked me to drop off the money whenever I have it. Also he gave me a business card and said if I have any questions call + ask.
I called the "Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services" to find out what to watch for before registering with a security company. They said make sure they are licensed. So I called C.S.A to ask if they are licensed. A man who answered the phone replied in a harsh + angry tone by saying why are you asking. I gave him my reason why I was asking and he hanged up on me. Then 3 hours later I called again and a lady answered the phone. I asked for Rob and she asked me what is the purpose of your call. I asked her about refund policy for the training class. She asked me if I paid yet and I didn't. She also had a harsh + cruel tone by saying there's no refunds, if you really want a job I suggested you come down right away and paid since the training classes are getting full.
I'm sure C.S.A are worried someday they will be caught and charged doing the scam/fraud they are currently doing. When we called them and asked questions about the company they seem worried, harsh, cruel, etc.
