Candy King Of America ripoff Plantation Florida
Beware of Candy King the Altoid vending machines are built very poorly and at $1650.00 for each machine they are way overpriced. When I bought my machines I was told these machines are made of brushed aluminum.The machines are mostly cheap plastic and some aluminum which is also cheap as the aluminum on the machines buckle and dent easy.I had my Altoids for only a few months and had to replace 2 of them because someone tipped it over and the machine's top busted off the stand. That is because the top of the machine is plastic and attached to the base with more plastic. Let's get real at $1650.00 for each machine that is unacceptable, I see machines on the web built with all metal for well over a $1000 less.
I talked to a vending manufacturer and they said that Candy King manufactures these machines for about $150 each machine. I talked to a guy named Joey who makes these machines for Candy King and I asked him why are these machines built so cheap and why so much and he got huffy and said qoute "I would jump up and down if I knew how much they really cost to make these machines". I have tried to get answers from Candy King about there false advertising these machines but only get the runaround, Stanley Gladstone the owner and the rest of the company are all liars and terrible people to do business with. If you want to buy these machines don't go to Candy King go to ebay and buy them cheaper, Candy King needs to be put out of business.
