Evidently I had a past due balance for my tuition that I did not know about.

The buissness office at Capella placed a hold on my account because of this. I had no way of knowing they did this because none of their customer service reps could see that the hold was there.

It took me a month of calling customer service and financial aid (seperate offices), to even figure out that I had a past due balance that was preventing me from registering for classes.

Finally I was told to contact the buisness office at Capella. They are extremely rude and treat you like dirt. They told me to call a collection agency to pay the past due balence.

I paid the balance with the collection agency that same day. Now, there is no record of me paying the balance. Capella took my money and refuses to give me credit for it. When I call them they are nothing but rude.

The last agent I spoke to at the buisness office at Capella told me "see what you get for calling us". These people are unprofessional.

 

Potential students should know what they are getting themselves into when they look at for profit schools. Their administration is terrible.
