Oh I Feel So Dumb! I Do Believe Capital Choice Consumer Credit Has Pulled A Fast One
What started was a letter and credit card application I received in the mail a couple of weeks ago. Last week I've already mailed in my check and the application. Yesterday my husband received a call for me from some guy saying this is regards of a credit card I applied for but he did not leave no name or phone number for me to return his call. That is when the red light flashed before my eyes!
Something inside me told me right there and then something was not right. I looked at the letter again (I made a copy of it) and found there was no phone number. So I surfed the website and found that the website was no longer available or has changed. I searched under Capital Choice Consumer Credit and the Rip Off Report website popped up and found a lot...I mean a lot of bad reports about this company.
I feel so dumb, embarrassed, hurt and most of all angry because like you all, I worked way too hard for my money and my credit to still be in good standing. I put a stop payment on my check however it dawn on me that they can still take my money out via electronically. Now I have to take some steps in making sure that they do not get any more of my money
