Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I received a phone call one night, from a woman offering me a Capital First Mastercard with a limit of $2500 for only a processing fee of $29.95. I though this was to good to be true and I should have kept it at that. All the woman needed to get my card out to me was a fee of $29.95 from my checking account. I asked the woman several time if this was a real credit card, and she told me yes every time, a Mastercard. So I did it.

The day I received my package (August 26, 2002) I called to cancel. The woman I spoke with was rude, very stupid, and kept trying to get me to use their company to get my credit back on track. Finally I got it over to her that I did not want to use that company, and she cancelled it. I asked her if my checking account would be charged since I did call within the first seven days like the pack said. She stated no.

September 13, 2002 my checking account was charged $59.95 and $99.95. I called on Saturday Sept 14, 2002, and the woman I then spoke with stated that it was noted that my account was cancelled and the money should not have come out. The lady that I spoke with on the 26th of Aug had not cancelled the account all the way out. Then I spoke with a floor supervisor who then transfered me to another dept. He stated that indeed my account was cancelled and the money should not have come out. He said that I would get a refund. All I needed to do was send a bank statement showing that the money came out, and I would receive a refund.

I sent the bank statement in certified mail, and it was to arrive today (Sept 17, 2002).

I called the ripoff place back today, and they had not received it yet. I read that I need to go to my bank and fill out a form to get my money back since they had no auth to take it, and close the account down. And that is was I will do. I hope that this company pays for what it has done, and I cannot believe that people would work for such a hell hole.

Please Contact your Bank and dispute these charges IMMEDIATELY. This has been said time and again about this company/situation. My own report is back on 8/29-30. You have 30 days to dispute the bank check charge - All the information that they have been asking you for is most probably a RUN AROUND. They want you to waste that time. It's usually - send the packet back certified, then they will ask for the bank statement certified.....I believe that they have NO INTENTION OF EVER GIVING YOU YOUR MONEY BACK. We disputed the charges, notified the bank that there had been illegal/fraudulent activity on the account. The bank investigated, and we got the money back - the 59.99 and 99.99 in less than 4 days. - THEN, close your account and open another one. They, and their affiliates, will continue to try and hit the account that they have information on. (write off the original 29.99 'processing fee' off to bad judgement, we did.)
