Capital One has reopened my account on three separate occasions, after I notified them to close and freeze the a count on April 3' 2009. I called and sent letters by standard mail and Certified Return Receipt. I have been charged a $35.00 yearly membership fee, at the time the account had been closed by Capital One. I sent letters to the insurance company to pay all payments while I was out of work. The insurance paid for one year. Stopped even thou I was still out of work and following all proper notification procedures. Capital on reopened the account again billing three months interest demanding payment. This keeps happening no matter how many times I call or write. The only option I can see is legal action against them.
