Two things: 1) If your account is not delinquent in any way (you didn't say if it was or not), it could be the fraud department trying to notify you of suspicious activity on your account. However, the frequency seems like an awful lot, even for that reason. 2) Have you called the number that they ask you to call? Or at least call Capital One's main number directly and ask them to verify that the phone number left in the messages is a valid one. That seems to me to be the most logical way to find out why they're calling.

If this is indeed Capital One and you indeed have a Capital One account that you have missed payments on, than you can easily stop the calls by paying your bill, or setting up a payment schedule with them. If you do not have an account with them, than call the number back and explain as such with them. It is possible they have a wrong number or are calling about a family member who is delinquent.
