Capitol One Credit Card Services renigs on consumer protection Richmond Virginia
I booked several days with the Princesa Hotel in Rocky Point Mexico.
Due to a strike at the border we were forced to leave one day early at the hotels recommendation.We complied and left on November 25,2006.After having paid for that day in advance we were provided a receipt at the front desk showing a due credit reversal to my capitol one card in the amount of $180.00.
The hotel never fulfilled their obligation to credit our capitol one card back $180.00 so we immedieatley contacted capitol one with all of the required and supportive information.In their typical fashion they requested the same information several times and the final time I sent everything certified mail.
I just recieved a letter in the mail that they can no longer help me and that I must now contact the merchant for a resolution which is impossible as they would not comply from the beginning.
They never gave a reason in their letter for their unwillingness to reverse a valid dispute.
