Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I bought a 1999 Ford Taurus in 2010 from the location on Fort Worth, Texas:.Within the first month the transmission started slipping..

I called the mechanic shop since it was promised a 2 year warranty on the transmission, engine and drive-train:. They told me to get the transmission fluid changed out first:. So I did! All that did was make the matters worse?.

So, I called them again and I was told someone would get back to me'. I made several calls and of course I was told someone would call me back?. NOBODY EVER DID! It continued to give me problems and I knew eventually it would go out on me..

I couldn't afford to get the problem fixed out of my own pocket and shouldn't have had too when they promised the warranty! It even was stated inside the dealership! 5 months of having the dang car, it stopped running all together!!! I picked up the phone called and told them to pick it up off the highway!

I was done with it! They wouldn't honor their warranty one bit and I feel they took advantage of a single mother who was needing a car to get to point A to point B! They first reported it on my credit it was a repo but then I fought that and they changed it to a charge off of $5,600 on my credit!!!! I shouldn't have to pay that money when the company didn't even honor their word!

I was never late on payment or anything!

But now I am a victim of not only them ripping me off but my credit is all jacked up!Such liars and thieves!

Maybe I didn't write out the whole sitiuation in my original complaint.  I had them come and pick it up after dealing with them for 5 months of not willing to HONOR their policy.  I couldn't even get the mechanic shop to call me back to set up an appointment to check it out.  Yeah after dealing with it for 5 d**n months, I got tired of never getting call backs from anyone!  I even told the fiance company the problems I was having.  They told me to contact the mechanic shop.  I'm sorry if you people think I just made a few phone calls and gave up but that wasn't the case at all.  I made SEVERAL CALLS!!  You say I should have it towed there, however I didn't even have the money for that extra expense.  I don't have to go to my whole life story about my life and the reasons I couldn't afford that expense at the time either. I would have kept my end of the bargain if they had too!  I have bought a car and paid it off before from a different car company and today I have a car that I have had for over a year and it will be paid off in a year.  No issues or complaints, except the fact the dealership I went to this time is someone that gave me a chance after seeing the debt owed to CARhop!  The even stated that over half their customers come to them after being ripped off by CARHOP...go figure right!

Anyways, if you people want to take the chance on getting ripped off, then go ahead.  It's funny how the lot I went to in 2010 has already been closed down for the passed year and they were only there for about year in 2010.  After stealing peoples money and lieing to them they can only stay at that location for so long!

You had the vehicle for 5 months but you have a 2 year warrenty. Why did you tell them to come get it?? It sounds like all you did is make a few calls then stopped. You needed to have it towed to the dealership you purchased it from. Then the process could have started for you. Instead you tell them to come pick it up. Well Im sorry but that was on you. YOU didnt follow the appropriate steps to get your problem solved. They then do EXACTLY as you asked and get the car, then you come and complain that your credit is jacked up. ITS ALL ON YOU. Had you ACTUALLY taken the car down to where you purchased it and claimed your warrenty you would have had your car and your transmission fixed. As it stands there is no remedy for your situation. You signed a contract so there is no help ANYONE can give you. You can try taking them to court to have that removed from your credit report, but since you asked them to repo it, youre pretty much stuck.

Its a Repo.

As per your own admission, YOU told them to pick up the car.  That was a voluntary repo.  They didn't take advantage of an unwed mother.  YOU told them to pick up the car, plain and simple!
