I bought a car from Car Hop and the second day I had it, it over heated and basically broke down.  I called car hop on the phone and told them that I was bringing the car back within the 72 hour range and wanted my money back.  Took the car back and a week later they returned my money.  Now, I was trying to buy a car to get back and forth with my daughter who has stage 4 cancer and found out that car hop and uac has reported that the car had been repoed and that now I owe them over 6 thousand dollars.  I can not do anything and my daughter needs to be able to get back and forth to the hospitals.  They have screwed me over and it is not fair.  I returned the car to them and did everything I was supposed to do.  I did not deserve this to be a negative on my credit report and now I have a hard time even trying to repair my credit.  This is a huge ripoff!  I am very upset.  They refused to help me and told me that it was between the credit beurus and me.  They did not want to help me get this off my credit report at all and it was there fault not mine!  I was ripped off!

 I tried to get them to take care of the problem. They have still failed to correct there mistakes. I bought car on Aug 17 2009 and returned on the morning of 19th. The car was a piece of junk broke down twice. They gave us 72 hours to return on contract. A week later they called and said my check was at the store. to come pick it up. we also recived a letter stating all issuses were settled.  In Dec we found out they were reporting to my credit file that the car was a invol repo. Also we owed them over 6000. I called them store and also at national number several times tring to get them to correct this. Still no one at this company will step up to the plate and fix it.  If you really want to correct it my email is (((Redacted))). Thank you and God Bless

Depending on how quickly you attempted to purchase another vehicle, it's possible this may be a simple misunderstanding.  As you stated, your money was refunded to you, so it would appear that the best way to help you is to contact UAC directly to ensure there was no misunderstanding during your return of the vehicle.
