Paid $550 for a bengal kitten after seeing it on website. It is a very professional looking website with testamonials, etc., that of course can be fabricated.
Paid via Moneygram (have never used it before). This is a bad, bad idea. Moneygram will not tell you ANYTHING about where the money was collected.
Received notice from shipper that they required me to pay an additionAL $980 insurance payment, with $960 to be returned upon delivery of kitten. I emailed the seller and he called me. This was my first phone contact.
Cardinalbengals subsequently indicated that this had never happened before, i.e. they had used the shipper alphapetsrelocator.com many times and this was a new requirement, yet they assured me the additional payment would be refunded.
The alphapetsrelocator.com email cited new regulations were inacted in the last 7 days imposing the required pet insurance requirement. This is of course BS
In the next conversation with the seller he hung up on me
I requested the return of my payment, less Moneygram charges. All communication has ceased
