I am interested!! They are ripping everyone off taking advantage of people charging high intreset rates for lemons!!! I went to the car dealer in Vallejo Ca, after sumitting paperwork and approved they gave me a choice of two cars. Neither one would start. I was interested in a van for my family so the girl walked me to the back where there were other cars and offered me the van. I drove off Aug 21,2013 with a Ford Winstar that turned out to be a piece of junk!!! Within 45 days, the van went to the shop 4 times for repair thats when I was told the van just got there and should not have been sold. The warranty  department contacted me and offer another option to take me out of the van and put me in something else. I went to Sacramento which is closer to home about 35 miles away. When I got there none of the cars had papers!!! So I ended up going to Hayward which is 90 miles one way from home. I drove off with a 2002 Dodge Durango in october 2013. The truck was fine until last week. Took it to the shop for a dianogsic and found there is no drive shaft!! Prior to selling the truck they should have known that by inspecting the truck before selling. The feedback i received yesterday was because i had the truck for a while they my not cover it. Well last i checked when you have auto pay are setup with extened warrant until the duration of you contract and the drive shaft is included. I would not have know that i was sold and signed a finacial contract for a truck that had no drive shaft!!! Where do they do that? CARHOP!!! WOW!!! Now it will cost 892 dollars to fix and no respose yet from warrenty. It suppose to be a turn around time of 48 hours and this was friday of last week.  The integrity of this company is a discrace needless to say speaks volumes on their morlas and ethics. Yes there should be a class action lawsuit to speak out on this!!!

I am very interested in filing a class action lawsuit against carhop. I am a victim of theirs. I purchased a car from them and this is the buy from hell. I have had numerous problems with the victim. this car had a fan with missing and broken propellers. I had to pay a mechanic to reroute my engine fan and put a switch on the inside of the car for me to manually operate the fan. Then the car had problems starting i paid $600 to replace all the coils and 6 weeks later the same problem occured. I had the car repaired by a shop they sent me to. I am still paying on this car and taking it back is not an option, it is my only means of transportation. Please contact me about the lawsuit you are interested in.

RIPOFF REPORT FROM CARHOP I went to CarHop to get a vehicle. I received a ride from a friend who couldn't stay around. Unfortunately, I did not have enough time to inspect the vehicle, as he was my only ride back home. It was a 1995 Plymouth voyager, which seemed to run fine for about a week. I noticed some leaking from the engine. I contacted CarHop about this problem, and they have several shops around town. I thought that was good until I got the inspection. The mechanic said the engine was leaking in too many places, so he suggested replacing the engine with a new one. That was until the mechanic started to jerk me around. 2 days passed with no transportation, relying on public transportation and barely enough money to get around. After the mechanic "replaced" the old engine with the so called new engine which is as bad or in even worse shape, he told me to meet him at the shop, which I assumed that was were I dropped it off at. I chased around the city trying to find this auto shop. The mechanic didn't even tell me about this location. I finally arrived at the shop, only to find that the *new* engine looked exactly like the old one. I am willing to bet that they didn't even touch it, maybe just cleaned up a little. They replaced a couple of engine parts, which cost me $125.00. Not only did they lie about the new engine, but they also have the worst customer service I have ever seen. I would like to know if I have any legal rights at all. All I want is reliable transportation. That is what I am paying a car payment for, plus the engine, transmission and drive train are under their warranty, which means they choose the parts (defective, inferior or just worn out) that gets replaced. This is the first time Stephanie (customer service) from CarHop contacted me about the mentioned problem with the vehicle. She asked what was happening with it. I told her that the head gasket is leaking. Symptoms of a bad head gasket include: exhaust blowing white smoke, engine block will not hold antifreeze, antifreeze is mixing with engine oil, temperature gauge teetering in the hot zone, also the smell of gasoline and antifreeze inside and outside the vehicle and when the heater is running inside. I don't even want to drive it, as the vehicle is a hazard and unfit for the road. I feared being stranded because of an overheated engine in subzero weather. The engine needs to be torn apart and critical parts, and gaskets replaced. This is the last time I will have it in there shop. After they finish with the engine work, there should be a noticeable difference in performance, meaning the engine should be clean on the outside. I will take it to a different garage to get a complete inspection to prove if they did any service to the vehicle. If they (CarHop) did not perform what needs to be done, that will leave me no choice than to seek a lawyer who deals with these problems. I will not pay for a vehicle I cannot drive and that's been in the shop 2 times already and nothing has been accomplished. The car was towed to the same shop as before. I'll see if anything will be done this time. I am seeking some legal help or advice to see if there's anything I can do to rectify this situation and what, if any, rights as a consumer I have. Well, here we go again, for the second time. This time it's a 1997 Olds Acheiva. This one lasted about 2 months and the water pump appears to be leaking severely. Just about all the antifreeze leaked out in the parking lot where I live. The apartment manager was not happy about that. I took the vehicle in to have them look at it. They told me they ran pressure tests and told me they could not find any leaks. BS!!! I do not know how this place can stay in business with kind of service (LOL). I finally just dropped the defective POS off at there lot. I have had a lot of MAJOR setbacks because of this crap, not to mention all the job offers I have lost or turned down because of lack of a car. I wish I'd NEVER gone to this place before doing my homework and seeing the NUMEROUS complaints about this place. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THIS PLACE OUT OF BUSINESS, AS THEY DON'T GIVE A d**n ABOUT GIVING ANYONE A RELIABLE VEHICLE OR DOING ANY INSPECTIONS ON ANY VECHICLES. THEY DO NOT FIX OR REPAIR ANY VEHICLES AT ALL!!! I THINK THE ONLY WAY THESE RIPOFFS ARE GOING TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS IS A CLASS ACTION SUIT. WITH ALL THE INFORMATION COMBINED, I THINK THERE WOULD BE A VERY GOOD CHANCE OF PUTTING THESE BASTARDS OUT OF BUSINESS FOR GOOD!!!! THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH ANY CAR DEALERSHIP!! IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN A CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST THESE *&*&S, I AM COLLECTING NAMES IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN PERSUING TO SAVE OTHERS FROM ANY BS OR GRIEF THIS PLACE HAS CAUSED. NOW, THANKS TO THIS POS PLACE, I HAVE NO OTHER OPTION THAN BICYCLE OR PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION. THANKS ALOT, CARHOP, FOR TAKING ADVANTAGE OF ME AND COUNTLESS OTHERS!!
