The service department at Carl Black, Roswell, GA location is TERRIBLE. Do not take your vehicle to this service department if you expect to be encountered by honest service representatives and your vehicle to be in better condition when you leave than when you arrived.
My first terrible experience with Carl Black of Roswell, GA, representative Tommy Webb, occurred during 2012 when I took my vehicle in for a routine oil change. Supposedly, my oil was changed and my vehicle was in great condition. Almost 1 month and approximately 1,000 miles later my vehicle began to sputter, my engine made terrible rattling noises and my check engine light came on. Unsure of the cause, I took my vehicle to Carl Black for inspection. I was told that I need a new timing chain and the work would cost me about $3,000! Rather than leaving my vehicle that day, I decided to take my car and call around to see if I could get better price. When calling around to different shops, a technician suggested that I check my oils levels in my vehicle. Although I was SURE there was enough oil in my car because I had recently gotten it changed, THERE WAS LESS THAN 1 QUART OF OIL IN MY CAR. I immediately added 4.5 quarts of oil and took my car to get an oil change and my car immediately starting running better and I no longer need that timing chain work.
My second terrible experience also occurred during 2012 when, I was told my water pump was leaking and needed to be replaced. Of course I got the repairs done at Carl Black. 6 months later, after the timing chain incident, I found that my water pump was leaking again and needed to be replaced. What a coincidence! Two water pumps within 6 months time frame.
In an attempt to compensate me for my terrible experiences, the service manager offered me a free car detail. Really?! I WILL NEVER NEVER NEVER RETURN TO CARL BLACK FOR ANY TYPE OF SERVICE. I WOULDN'T EVEN ALLOW THEM TO WASH MY FRONT WINDSHIELD OUT OF FEAR THEY MAY NOT BE ABLE TO DO THAT CORRECTLY!
Save your time, energy and child's college tuition fund, by not taking your vehicle there for maintenance and repair.

Wow, that shocks me to hear about Tommy Webb. I have been using Tommy for my personal and business vehicles for 8 years now and have only received exceptional service from him. It sounds like the technician who worked on your vehicle was an idiot because the advisor is not the one who actually works on the car. Good luck to you on your vehicle!
