Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
In 2008, we canceled our 1and1.com services.  We followed the instructions of cancellation given by 1and1.com.  We received a cancellation from 1and1.com that stated, " We have received a cancellation regarding your 1and1 package (with the above mentioned contract id (10024436)."  We followed up by clicking on the provided url to activate the cancellation.  Well, after an internal audit, we discovered that, although we canceled the service in 2008, 1and1.com charge our business card for 2009, 2010, and 2011!  We contacted them, and there customer service head, Damain, EXT 2524, asked us to faxed all information.  We faxed it to him, and after looking over the paperwork and acknowledging that the paperwork showing our cancellation, Damian from 1and1 said, "we can not prove your company completed the cancellation properly."  So 1and1, which owes us $3290.94, said they were not going to refund us.

This is the very thing that is wrong with commerce over the Internet.  These scammers on the Internet get unsuspecting customers to purchase goods and services and when they want to cancel, they find all the reasons and hoops we must go through, with their only purpose is to continue to take their money.  "We did not cancel our services properly", what kind of response is that from a supposedly, reputable company?  We have all the paperwork to support our claim that we, in fact, canceled our service with 1and1.com.

We have 10 additional servers that is supported by 1and1.com.  We are telling all our clients and business contacts that we are severing our relationship with 1and1.com and never use their services again!

Even if you did choose to do business with one particular company that turned out to be a fraud (which apparently took you three years to notice), that doesn't mean there is something wrong with all commerce on the Internet.

That's like saying, "I got ripped off by a local store, so all in-person transactions are bad."

I also can't tell who this complaint is supposed to be against - you seem to be alternating between two names.
