Carlos Cuchet NMLS#1048690 I3 Lending NMLS#1020884 Carlos Cuchet NMLS#1048690 is lying loan officer for a company that works out of India, called I3 Lending NMLS#1020884. This man is a pure liar, he works the bait and switch better then anybody I have seen. He will tell you that he can get one rate, then comes back with another rate. Do not trust a thing this man says. Miami Florida
In June of 2018, we met with a gentleman by the name of Carlos Cuchet NMLS #1048690 to take a mortgage application with the company he was working with at that time. The name of the company is I3 Lending NMLS#1020884. My wife and I were 1st time home buyers and we were not familiar with the mortgage application. He promised us that he would assist us with the application process.
I am a disabled Veteran, I was hoping that my wife and I would be able to get into a new house before our new baby was set to arrive. Mr. Cuchet assured me that with my high credit score and income that he should be able to close us within 30 days. So, at the time of the application he quoted us a rate of 4.75% on a 30-year fixed rate.
As the application process moved forward, we obtained all the paper work that was required by the lender. We received a conditional approval with a different rate so we approached Mr. Couchet to ask him why. He stated there was a problem on our credit report and we would have to take a rate at 5.25%. I told him that this was unacceptable, and we wanted the rate we were quoted. He said that would not be possible and that if we wanted to close we would have to take it or leave it. Because my wife due to deliver the baby and we had no choice than to accept the terms he quoted us.
Finally, after 60 days, and a higher rate we closed. The loan was immediately sold to a new lender. I could not be happier for that. His processor did not speak English and was very hard to understand. I am very disappointed with him as a loan officer and would never recommend him to anyone else.
I am warning all consumer to stay away from this man. He has no soul and is not afraid to lie and steel to get what he wants. He is a bad loan officer.
